A few months ago, our team was approached to stage a contemporary penthouse in Union Market for one of our clients. We were beyond thrilled at the opportunity to stage this luxury space. Our client had a clear and specific vision for how he wanted his property to look, along with high expectations for a design that would complement its impressive features. Nonetheless, it didn’t take us long to align his ideas with our own design process.

Upon entering the penthouse, you’re greeted with a grand spiral staircase that takes you up to the second floor. This entrance sets the tone for the rest of the property, evoking a unique, upscale, and contemporary vibe. The beautifully finished natural hardwood floors, minimalist fixtures, and expansive window walls in each room provide breathtaking city views, creating an impressive "wow" factor as you ascend the stairs and explore the space.
To highlight these stunning features, we chose a neutral color palette of black, white, and gray tones, accented with gold and chrome for a touch of sophistication. Sculptural pieces and accessories were selected for their visual impact, while furniture in boucle fabrics, along with textured pillows and cozy throw blankets, provided balance and comfort throughout the space.
Each room in this penthouse received individual attention from our design team. This included a curated selection of art pieces for a cohesive look throughout the property. The outdoor space was no exception; to highlight the stunning DC cityscape, we added a rooftop lounge area adorned with plenty of throw pillows for a luxurious touch.
The finished product was a high end and opulent staging to match the property, and the stunning result of our expert design team’s collaborative approach to client work.
